Open to opportunities

I'm Brando — I build reliable software through automated testing.

ServiceNow SDET at General Motors. I design automated testing frameworks, optimize CI/CD workflows, and ensure software reliability at scale. Currently pursuing my MS in Artificial Intelligence at UT Austin.

A bit about me

Based in Austin, Texas, with a passion for quality engineering and AI.

I got into testing because I'm drawn to the small details — the ones that quietly decide whether a project ships well or falls apart later. That same instinct is what pulled me into AI: I started my MS at UT Austin to explore how testing itself can be driven by AI, not just the products being tested.

Day to day, I'm a ServiceNow SDET at General Motors, where I design automation frameworks, build CI/CD pipelines, and partner with engineering teams to ship software that holds up under real use.

ServiceNow — Software Development Engineer in Test

Driving software quality across GM's ServiceNow integration through automation and CI/CD.

  • Playwright automation: Built an automated testing framework on Playwright targeting ServiceNow's most fragile workflows — cutting manual regression effort and catching breakages before they reach production.
  • CI/CD integration: Wired automated suites into GM's build pipeline so every change to a ServiceNow app gets exercised before it ships, tightening the feedback loop for the platform team.
  • Test coverage: Author and maintain test plans covering the functional and non-functional requirements of GM's ServiceNow integration end-to-end.
  • Defect triage: Partner with GM's IT and ServiceNow teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve critical defects across releases.

Software Development Engineer in Test

Built automation and mentored teammates across GPSC's web application portfolio.

  • 50% faster test runs: Designed and built an automated testing framework on Selenium WebDriver and Java that cut test execution time in half and improved accuracy across the GPSC web app portfolio.
  • 20% fewer post-release issues: Worked with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and fix critical defects — measurably reducing problems that reached production.
  • Pipeline integration: Embedded automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, giving developers same-day feedback on regressions and lifting overall release quality.
  • Mentorship: Coached junior teammates on test automation patterns and best practices, raising the team's overall throughput.

Software Engineer

Owned the labeling system that kept the paint line running accurately and on time.

  • Owned the labeling system: Designed, developed, and maintained the software running the paint line's labeling system, where accuracy directly affected throughput and product quality.
  • Performance & uptime: Optimized system performance to increase throughput, reduced downtime, and resolved production issues quickly to keep the line moving.
  • Cross-functional integration: Worked alongside production managers, QA, and engineering to make sure new features integrated cleanly with the existing manufacturing process.
